To provide practicing home inspectors with a unified political voice with
which to respond to legislative initiatives on the local and state levels
which effect the practice of the home inspection trade in this geographic
area;
To provide its full and associate members with an exchange of information
and mutual assistance to better serve the public through the practice of the
trade of home inspection, and to mutually benefit members in the practice of
the home inspection trade;
To seek out and/or develop sources of pertinent, valuable continuing
education and to make such continuing education available to members;
To provide a vehicle for peer review, complaint resolution, and, as
necessary, peer sanction;
To provide related trades and professions upon which the function of the
home inspection impacts with a formal, visible body with which to
communicate about matters of mutual concern or assistance;
Through the practice of the above and through all other appropriate
means, to uphold and improve the professional, ethical, and technical
standards of its members, that its members may better serve the general
community in which the Northwest Florida Home Inspectors’ Association
functions.
